Description

The OASE BioSmart 16000 filters are an introductory combined filter unit from Oase that include and integrated 11w Ulta Viole t Light. The OASE BioSmart Filters ensure clear and healthy pond water thanks to the combination of a large filter foam surface and integrated UVC technology.

The BioSmart’s 16000 built in Ultra Violet, utilises a highly efficient PLS Ultra Violet bulb. The filter consists of foam cartridges suspended from a plate. To clean them simply pull the handles which compress the foam against the plate, squeezing out the waste. This waste and the remaining water is then run to waste via the integrated sludge outlet. The filter outlet is half way up the tank allowing partial burial if required, although the sludge drain is at the bottom of the tank and must be accessible for cleaning. The filters are supplied with a thermometer and 3m of cable for the integrated UVC. The 16000 Biosmart filters come with a 2 year gaurantee to offer fantastic value.
